Performance improvement of a zero‐voltage switching interleaved high step‐up DC–DC converter with low‐voltage stresses

This paper proposes a novel interleaved ultra-large gain zero-voltage switching (ZVS) DC–DC converter for renewable energy systems. By using coupled inductor (CI) and built-in transformer (BIT), high-voltage is achieved. The secondary windings of the CIs are connected in series with primary winding BIT inserted voltage multiplier cell (VMC). In such case, proportional to multiplication turn's ratios CI BIT. To increase devices’ utilization, active clamp circuit not only provide ZVS performance metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFETs) recycles leakage energy, but also participates enhancement. stress across switches considerably decreased low duty cycle reduces conduction losses. Low input current ripple, equal sharing without dedicated controller common ground other merits proposed converter. Steady-state analyses presented through fair comparison, superiority over state-of-the-art guaranteed. Finally, 500-W laboratory prototype 20- 400-V conversion built demonstrate effectiveness
